Yang offers 10 families $1,000 a month at Democratic debateTech entrepreneur Andrew Yang took the stage at the third debate of Democratic presidential candidates with a promise to give a "freedom dividend" of $1,000 per month to 10 American families for a year. "When you donate money to a presidential campaign, what happens? It's time to trust ourselves more than our politicians," Yang said in his opening statement in the three-hour debate.
